LOST IN COSMIC -ANIMATION SHOT
The character travels to space and encounters incidents that end up on a lost Island
SYNOPSIS
Martha is an Asgardian from 3045 who travels to find about an Alien on an unknown Planet
where she experiences some frightening incident. Although she managed to escape an impact
with a meteor crash lands her on an Isolated Island on an Unknown Planet.
STORY
Martha is an Asgardian. She lives in a Space colony after Earth was demolished. One day Martha
finds an Instagram post of an Alien quoted: " You can't scroll without liking". She gets curious
and went to see this in person. When she reached the Planet, Alien was sitting on a rock paying
no attention to Martha. She approaches the Alien to take a selfie. She finds it was not as cute
from the Instagram post and said that herself.
While she taking the selfie something grabs her shoulder. Martha gets nervous and turned back
to see what it is.
Now the Alien has changed its appearance and got some tentacles. Martha gets frightened and
runs away. She climbs into the spaceship and tries to start the engine. It keeps failing which gets
Martha to freak out. At last, she manages to start and rush out from there. In that rush, she hits
a comet and loses the controls which leads to two more collisions. The spaceship gets damaged
and fell onto an unknown planet.
Martha manages to swim to an island nearby and finds it was a lonely island surrounded by just
water.
SCRIPT
LOST IN COSMIC
SCENE: 1 [Ext. OUTER SPACE]
The scene opens with the frustrated eyes of the protagonist (MARTHA). A view from outer
space of an Unknown Planet. A Spaceship entering its atmosphere vigorously with an ignition
due to the friction.
MARTHA'S POV
Machine controls indicating "SYSTEM FAILURE" while Martha is striving to retain the controls.
SCENE: 2 [Ext. ISLAND]
(Camera in VLS) Opens with a calm Island beach, the Spaceship crash lands to the ocean with
some fire and fumes. Martha manages to swim out of the wreck and lies over the beach. She
gets up and looks around to find the emptiness of the ocean. She freaks out and screams, looking at the sky
Martha:
Where an aerial shot takes up and fades into black screen.
SCENE: 3 [INT. MARTHA'S HOME-HALL]
12 Jan 3010, 15: 10
Camera Pans from Right to Left-The room atmosphere dimmed. A lot of accessories and devices
are visible through the wall and shelves. Martha's spacesuit hanged on the wall. Some indicator
lights illuminate in the background.
Martha sitting on a couch checking Instagram (hologram). She seems unamused and bored.
Suddenly she gets stuck at one post of an alien picture saying, 'Cute or not. You can't scroll
down without liking this.
Martha:
Hmm... that's interesting. What creature are you? You sort a cute but the photo lack resolution. Okay, the location is tagged. Let's see what you are.
She leaves the screen and appears in a spacesuit and grabs the helmet from the table.
SCENE: 4 [EXT. MARTHA'S HOME-SPACE COLONY]
A wide shot-A lot of floating cabins are visible in which some of them got space ships. In a
moment, Martha's ship takes off.
SCENE: S [EXT. ALIEN'S PLANET]
(Camera in VLS) Martha's spaceship lands on the planet
Google (V.0):
You have reached your destination
The Planet is green and with a lot of mushrooms. The Alien creature from the Instagram post
sits on a rock. Martha approaches the alien with excitement. Alien is not paying attention to
anything as it sits calmly.
Martha (V.O):
Here you go, How are you boy?
Situation remains silent
Martha (V.O):
Okay. I am just wondering...hmmmm
Martha takes her phone out and opens the Camera.
MARTHA'S POV
She keeps the camera zoomed to the eyes, then the nose, and the overall face of the alien.
Martha (V.O):
You look different apart from tone. Are you the same guy from insta?
She is preparing to take a selfie with the Alien.
Martha (V.O):
I'm gonna take a selfie with you.... Okay?
She turns around.
Martha:
You know, I'm way better cute than you. I don't know who posts such shit online!
(Camera in MCU) Something grabs her on the shoulder.
Alien (V.O):
I don't care. You have to tag me too when you are posting that...
When she turns around, it is not the same alien from the previous shot. Now it's got tentacles
and arms. Martha gets frightened and runs to the ship. She is trying to start the machine that
fails a couple of times finally, she manages to take off.
SCENE: 6 [EXT. SPACE]
When Martha took off, a comet hits the spaceship unexpectedly and loses control which
triggers some consecutive collisions with other rocks. It ends up falling into the Blue Planet.
Martha:
Screams...
